The City of Pine Bluff and DePaul U.S.A. are co-sponsoring a showing of a documentary film on homelessness called “The Bridge” tonight at the Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas beginning at 6 p.m.
DePaul U.S.A. operates the Opportunity House resource center for homelessness and housing insecurity at the former First Ward School at 1305 E. 6th Ave.
Mayor Shirley Washington and Christopher Taylor, Associate Director for Pine Bluff of DePaul U.S.A. were guests on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show to talk about the film and about Opportunity House, with the Mayor beginning the conversation.
Morning Show host Greg Horne told Taylor that it is a big goal to try and end homelessness and ask if it is possible to get that accomplished?
Horne also asked what are some of the things DePaul U.S.A. can do?
