Dr. Tyrone Jackson, the new President of Southeast Arkansas College was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show Thursday as a way of introducing himself to the area.
Jackson assumed the position July 1, replacing Dr. Steven Bloomberg, who took a job in California.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Jackson to discuss his background.
He was then asked to talk about things he things are important for SEARK to do over the next few years.
Jackson mentioned meeting stakeholders and Horne asked him if he had done that and if he was going to try and develop programs at SEARK in response to what those stake holders said.
Horne said in the past SEARK had a lot of “non-traditional” students and asked Jackson if he was going to continue that?
