A $5,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man previously convicted of shoplifting who was arrested after being identified as the person who took items from a Dollar General store Sunday.
Prosecutors said Christopher Wayman, 42, has six prior felony convictions and a shoplifting conviction in 2019. He also has 19 failures to appear in court charges.
Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said on Sunday, a police officer was sent to 5104 Dollarway Road, Dollar General, in response to a reported theft.
Wayman was told to come back to court Oct. 1.
