The Pine Bluff Police Department is seeking information about a June 16, 2024, shooting at Lake Saracen that left a man dead.
At approximately 12:08 a.m., officers with the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to the area of Lake Saracen Drive in reference to multiple reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, they located a gray Chevrolet Impala near the west side of Lake Saracen Drive that had sustained numerous bullet strikes.
Multiple shell casings were recovered in the area, indicating that several rounds had been fired.
A short time later, officers were notified that four individuals had arrived at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds sustained during the incident.
One victim, Corey Berrien, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The other three victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary information indicates the victims were in the area of Saracen Landing when an unidentified vehicle drove by and opened fire.
Detectives are actively investigating and are working to identify all parties involved.
