A $25,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man on a drug related allegation.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Christopher Wayman, 40, with possession of a controlled substance cocaine.

The allegation was based on an affidavit from Arkansas State Trooper Nathan Jines who reported that he was traveling east on Dollarway Road at 9:29 p.m. Tuesday when he saw a blue Chevrolet Suburban that did not return to that vehicle.

A deputy prosecutor said Jines then conducted a traffic stop.

Wayman has four or more prior felony convictions and was told to come back to court Dec. 15.
