A $75,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of causing injuries to an infant.
Jefferson Count District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Tarrance Mitchell, 39, with first-degree domestic battery.
Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said the allegation is based on an affidavit from Pine Bluff Police.
Hunter said police interviewed the 4-year-old and the 6-year-old who also lived at the residence and they denied dropping the infant.
Mitchell was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Nov. 11.
