A $25,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of operating an illegal gambling house who also was in possession of alleged ecstasy.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jeremy Gipson, 43, with keeping a gambling house and possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver.
Readding from an affidavit by Pine Bluff Police Detective Lee Freeman, Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said police detectives and members of the Tri-County Drug Task Force served a search warrant Thursday afternoon.
Spradlin said Gipson has a prior robbery conviction from 2004. He was told to come back to court July 18.
