Pine Bluff Man Faces $5,000 Bond for Illegal Gambling Operation

A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of operating an illegal gambling house.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond for Alshon Scott, 48, based on an affidavit from police Vice and Narcotics Detective Richard McCorvy who reported that on Thursday afternoon, detectives served a search warrant at a location on Black Hawk Road.

Spradlin said Scott has prior federal convictions. He was told to come back to court July 18.
