Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said at about 12:40 a.m., Thursday, a White Hall Police Officer was patrolling Dollarway Road and Colonial Drive when he saw an SUV traveling what appeared to be faster than the posted speed limit.

The officer activated his radar, and it showed the vehicle traveling 58 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone.

The pursuit continued, trying to drive down a set of railroad tracks.

Rauls was taken to the White Hall Police Department where he declined to make a statement.

He was told to come back to court Jan. 30.
