When students return to classes this fall, there will be a major change that they will have to get used to.

They will not be able to access their cell phones like they have in the past. A new state law prohibits the use of cell phones in all public and private schools in the state.

To prepare for the implementation of the law, the Pine Bluff School District held a practice day last week and Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree talked about what the plan was when she appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.

Barbaree was asked how schools will be able to keep cell phones out of students’ hands without confiscating the phone itself.

She went on to say this.
