A new state law which will go into effect when schools start back in the fall was one of the topics discussed when White Hall School District Superintendent Gary Williams was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Williams talked about the “Bell to Bell No Cell” law and explained what the district is going to do.
Williams was asked what if there was some type of emergency on campus and parents wanted to get in touch with their kids to ensure that they were safe.
Morning Show host Greg Horne said he thought the law was “a great thing. The use of cellphones at school is in my opinion a disaster.”
Williams also explained another law that will go into effect in the fall.
