Members of law enforcement, EASI ambulance and others gathered at Jack Robey Junior High School Tuesday for a “mass casualty” drill, designed to prepare the agencies for something they hope never happens.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show Tuesday, Dwayne Alseth and Clyde McDaniel from EASI talked about what was planned, first Alseth and then McDaniel urging passersby not to panic when they see what was going on.
Instead of students from Pine Bluff High School playing the part of victims, they will be played by participants in the UAMS MASH program, Alseth said.
McDaniel was asked why the agencies are doing this and he responded this way.
Alseth added this.
