While the population and economic success of Northwest Arkansas is seeing continued growth, and moderate population and economic growth is taking place in Central Arkansas, the population in Southeast Arkansas continues to decline, and the economy in the region is declining as well.
Fourth District Congressman Bruce Westerman, a Republican from Hot Springs, was asked Thursday what could be done, from a federal level, and from his own perspective, to turn things around in Southeast Arkansas.
Westerman, whose district includes all of Southeast Arkansas, was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and said Lithium could be a great example of that.
