The Area Agency on Aging in Pine Bluff donated 96 backpacks to the local Toys for Tots Foster Care Initiative on Tuesday, supporting at-risk and foster care youth across Cleveland, Dallas, Jefferson, and Lincoln Counties.
Youth service agencies including The Call’s Foster Care Program, The Children’s Advocacy Center, and Voices for Children attended the event. Following a brief presentation, representatives were invited to “shop” for toys, books, puzzles, and games provided by Toys for Tots to help meet the individual needs of the children they serve.
The donation is part of the ongoing effort to provide comfort and essential items to vulnerable youth in the region.
