A 38-year-old Little Rock man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly left the scene of an accident on Interstate 530 near Mile Marker 39.

Arkansas State troopers found Michael Miller at an address in Little Rock and he was brought back to Jefferson County where he was questioned.

During a court hearing Friday, Deputy Prosecutor Caleb Conrad said the victim called 911 to report that he was northbound on the interstate when the truck he was driving was hit by a white passenger car that left the scene. The victim was advised to pull off the road until Trooper Nick Burlison arrived and the driver did, pulling into the Family Church Parking lot.

Conrad said Trooper Burlison asked the victim what happened.

Burlison was able to use the video to obtain a license plate number which came back to Miller and to obtain a tentative identification of the driver of the vehicle. Conrad reported what Miller said when he was questioned.

On Friday, Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $2,500 bond for Miller after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with aggravated assault. Miller was also cited for reckless driving and failing to report an accident. He said he would hire his own attorney.
