A retired circuit judge has been named to hear the lawsuit filed by Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson against the members of the Quorum Court alleging they are attempting to usurp his authority.

Judge William R. Wright was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and on Friday, Robinson was asked about that when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 morning show.

Robinson said there has been a lot of name calling surrounding his relationship with the quorum court, including being called a dictator. “Apparently, people don’t know what a dictator is,” Robinson said.

Morning show host Greg Horne asked Robinson if there were still things he could do, even without quorum court actions.
