This is the second of two stories about the clash between County Judge Gerald Robinson and Justice of the Peace Alfred Carroll over Robinson’s refusal to pay the amount of money Circuit Clerk Flora Cook (Bishop) has asked for her unused vacation time prior to taking office in January.

Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show Tuesday, Robinson was asked to clarify the disagreement.

Robinson went on to explain why he made that statement about getting written up.

He said the charges against him were thrown out but if he did what Cook Bishop was asking for, the state auditors could go to the prosecutor and seek charges against him.

Morning show host Greg Horne asked Robinson to confirm that he was talking about Flora Cook Bishop and Alfred Carroll was the one who kept bringing it up.
