The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is in the early stages of a shooting investigation following an incident Friday evening at the Handy Mart convenience store located at 6605 Highway 79 South.
No information is available regarding the shooting other than there was one victim that was shot in the leg. That victim was transported to a Little Rock hospital and the condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
No information is available at this time in regards to what led to the shooting.
