Efforts to approve legislation including Christmas bonuses for Jefferson County employees remains in limbo as the Quorum Court continues to squabble.

A special called meeting Tuesday night ended the same way as meetings have for the past few months, with some justices of the peace refusing to vote for items placed on the agenda by County Judge Gerald Robinson.

After the meeting, County Assessor Gloria Tillman told Deltaplex News the constant turmoil is affecting her office.

Clayton Rasberry, a military veteran who attended the meeting said the continued disagreements are affecting the county’s veterans.
