Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson spoke about the latest string of shootings

Before he was elected as Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson spent a number of years with the Sheriff’s Department, including a stint as sheriff.

Robinson was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show Wednesday and was asked about the string of shootings and homicides that have occurred in Pine Bluff over the past few months with young people shooting and killing young people and random shootings like the one last week at Church’s Chicken on Cherry Street where four people were wounded in a random incident in broad daylight.

Robinson went on to sat a community effort is needed.

He said the shootings are not just confined to one area but are occurring all over. Morning show host Greg Horne if we are reaching the point where people are going to say enough is enough and Robinson answered this way.
