On Monday night, the Jefferson County Quorum Court failed to take any action on a 10-item agenda including money for the road department, sheriff’s office and the county judge. Squabbles between Judge Gerald Robinson and some members of the county’s legislative body have continued for months and were on full display again Monday.

On Tuesday, Robinson was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show and talked about the meeting.

Robinson went on to say this.

Morning show host Greg Horne asked Robinson to explain the salary issue Carroll was talking about and Robinson responded this way.

This is the first of a two-part story. Tomorrow, Robinson talks about the issue with Circuit Clerk Flora Bishop that prompted Carroll’s outburst.
