Jefferson County authorities are continuing their search for two men who escaped from the adult detention center.

According to a press release Mondy, Noah Roush, 22, and Jatonia Bryant, 23, may have escaped last Thursday or Friday but were not missed until Monday. Bryant was being held on probable cause of capital murder and Roush on probable cause of burglary and theft of property and is also a suspect in a homicide.

Oldies 1013 Morning Show Host Greg Horne said Tuesday Sheriff Lafayette Woods Jr., declined a request to appear on the show to talk about the escape.

County Judge and former Sheriff Gerald Robinson did appear and talked about it, particularly since Deltaplex Radio received information that Bryant was seen on the streets last Thursday and the public was not told about the escape for five days.

Horne asked Robinson to explain the procedures used to ensure that those people who are supposed to be locked up are in fact locked up.

Robinson went on to say this.
