The chairman of the Jefferson County Election Commission has expressed concern about the condition of the building the commission uses after bricks have fallen off.

Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show, Mike Adam explained his concern.

The building Adam is talking about is located at 103 S. Main St., and Adam said the roof on the building located next to theirs is complexly gone. He went on to say that the commission used to store some of their records in that building but it has now been sealed up because water was leaking into the commission building.

The building on the other side, which formerly housed the sheriff’s department criminal investigation office, also has water leaks and a damaged roof.

He then went on to say this.
