QC approves several items, Carroll refuses to be in room with County Judge

At their regular monthly meeting, The Jefferson County Quorum Court finally got  several things done.  Among the items approved—-funding for the Jefferson County Drug

Court.  In addition,  the Justices approved appropriation that gives funding for the Fifth And Sixth Divisions of the Jefferson County Circuit Court.

Only Justices Alfred Carroll and Melanie Johnson Dumas did not vote on the measures. Justice Dumas had an approved absence while Carroll claimed he was afraid to sit in a
