A police investigation into a reported accidental shooting Saturday resulted in the arrest of a husband and wife on gun-related allegations.
Walter Urquhart, 49, was taken into custody for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and his wife, Debra Hernandez, 55, is accused of furnishing a weapon to a convicted felon.
Reading from an affidavit from Detective Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West told the court what happened.
Because of his prior convictions, Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $50,000 bond for Urquhart and set a $5,000 bond for Hernandez, who has no prior convictions. Both said they would hire their own attorney.
