The Grant County Quorum Court adopted a $14 million budget during their final meeting of the year which included a three percent pay raise with some adjustments.
According to the Sheridan Headlight newspaper, the budget included one new position for the Road Department, money for two news vehicles for the Sheriff’s Department and one for Grant County Rescue, as well as updates to courthouse cameras.
The newspaper reported that the Quorum Court also amended the 2023 budget to create bonuses for eligible employees.
