Kerry Battle, from the Pine Bluff Festival Association, is encouraging everyone to come out on July 4 to enjoy the biggest fireworks show in Southeast Arkansas.

Starting at 8 p.m., crowds gathered at the amphitheater located at Pine Bluff Regional Park will be able to mix and mingle to music by Billy Coble from 98.1 The Hog and Bluff city radio, as well as other fun and live entertainment scheduled to keep the celebration going into the night.

98.1 The Hog will provide live patriotic music coordinated with the firework show.  Tune in to the Hog at Regional Park and doubly enjoy the show.  If can’t make it to Regional park or are having your own festivities take advantage of the patriotic music at 9pm on 98.1 The Hog.  The patriotic music will be coordinated with the fireworks show.

Major Lafayette Woods Jr. says the event is to be considered the largest fireworks show in the county.

Woods recommended that locals attend the fireworks show on Wednesday as a way to celebrate and enjoy the excitement of fireworks and festivity in a controlled, regulated environment without the hazard of fire or personal injury.

If weather is an issue plans are to have the show the next night.

The fireworks show is the only professional fireworks show that will be held in the city to commemorate the holiday.
