Jefferson Regional is proud to announce that the Donna Terrell Warrior Lodge will be constructed on the Jefferson Regional main campus in Pine Bluff. The Warrior Lodge at Jefferson Regional will serve as a no-cost housing facility for cancer patients receiving treatment at Jefferson Regional’s Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center. Many South Arkansas patients commute to Pine Bluff so the comfortable housing at the Warrior Lodge will eliminate the burden of traveling long distances and finding a place to stay during treatment.

Fox16 News Anchor Donna Terrell lost her daughter Queah to colon cancer at the age of 27. In her honor, she created Donna Terrell’s Yoga Warriors, a nonprofit organization that works endlessly to ease the burden of a cancer diagnosis. One mission was to create a facility where cancer survivors can stay when they are in treatment and receiving care away from home.

This facility will feature four guest suites with private bathrooms, a meditation room, a fully equipped kitchen, living space, an outdoor patio and keyless entry for secure and easy access.

Fighting cancer includes more than medicine, and we are proud to be part of the fight at Jefferson Regional!
