Shooting at Central Park in PB Sunday night

On January 20, at approximately 5:41 pm, Officers were dispatched to 2101 S. Hickory Street (Central Park), in reference to a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located 18-year-old Darius Pearson, who had been shot in his right lower leg. Pearson stated a group of people and he went to the park due to multiple trying to fight his sister. Pearson stated when they arrived at the park, someone started shooting.

Pearson was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where his injuries were believed to be non-life threatening.

Pine Bluff Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Alexander Cortez Herrien, who is wanted for Battery in the First Degree, Possession of Firearms by Certain Person, and Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member in connection with the shooting at Central Park.

Herrien (pictured) is 6’2” in height, 230 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Herrien’s last known address is 2618 W. 13th Avenue, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Herrien should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS as a handgun and an AR style rifle was used in this incident.
