With the recent changes in the weather that resulted in many residents switching from cooling their homes to heating them. Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services Chief Shauwn Howell said Friday his department has responded to a few more calls that resulted from the changes.

Horne told Howell he probably had more of an issue with fires like that than chiefs in comparably sized cities because of the number of abandoned buildings in Pine Bluff.
