At several recent quorum court meetings, a number of vendors who have done business with the county have complained that they have not been paid, some with bills dating back months.

On Thursday, County Judge Gerald Robinson was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show and was asked about that, saying that basically his hands are tied.

Robinson explained that as county judge, he has had to move money from various other line items, comparing it to “robbing Peter to pay Paul.”

Morning Show host Greg Horne described the situation as “frustrating” and said at some point, those vendors are going to start filing lawsuits.

Robinson went on to say this.
