With no dissent, the City Council’s Development and Planning Committee on Monday recommended that two rezoning requests approved by the Pine Bluff Planning Commission be sent to the full council with a do pass recommendation.

Chairman Bruce Lockett and members LaTisha Brunson and Steven Mays met by Zoom to hear Zoning Official Lakesha Hill explain one of the requests.

The other request was for the east side of the 5700 block of South Olive St., where the new Chick-fil-A is to be located.

Ordinances to rezone  both locations will be on the agenda for the next meeting of the council Feb. 21.
