For more than a year, a eight members of the Jefferson County Quorum Court have held what County Judge Gerald Robinson called illegal meetings to discuss and vote on their own agenda which frequently did not align with the agenda that came out of the judge’s office.

One of those eight was Margarette Williams, who is being opposed by newcomer Randy Green in the March 5 Democratic primary.

Appearing on Talk Back Live with Floyd Donald, Green was asked about those separate meetings and if he would take part in them if he was elected.

Green, who is a veteran, was told that Williams had opposed funding for the veterans service center and was asked his feelings about that.

He was also asked about his goals and objectives if he is elected.
