The recent investigation developments have caused frustration and confusion for the family of 36-year-old Pamela Suggs, who now leaves behind a 2-year-old son.

Police discovered a wrecked car and Pamela’s body just after three in the morning at West 26th Avenue and South Cherry Street on September 7th. Jeremy Scott Sr. turned himself into police later that day and made statements leading to his arrest for second-degree murder. A Jefferson County district court judge ruled prosecutors have probable cause to instead charge Scott with manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a minor.

“We’re in 2019. There’s so much evidence that could have been done inside the vehicle but you’re telling me you’re waiting on a black box as if she was in an airplane from the car to determine how fast she was going, how hard she hit this tree. They’re still really trying to rule this as an accident,” Says Pamela’s brother Robert Suggs. “I want her to know that I love her. I won’t stop fighting for her. I’ll go broke fighting for you.”

Pamela Suggs’ celebration of life was held Saturday morning.
