A Pine Bluff man currently on probation was arrested Thursday after a gun and ammunition were found inside his residence.

Kamen Winston, 29, was taken into custody after he reported to his probation officer and was taken to his house because the officer wanted to do a home security search.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Chris Wieland, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said Winston was placed in hand and leg restraints for the trip to his residence.

Pine Bluff District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $10,000 cash-only bond for Winston Friday after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with being a felon in possession of a firearm. He said he would hire his own attorney.
