A $10,000 bond was set Tuesday for a Grant County woman accused of shooting a man in Pine Bluff on Sunday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutor have probable cause to charge Lisa Archy, 50, with first-degree battery.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said police were sent to an address on Lily Cove where they found the male victim, who was taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital for treatment.

Detective Jason Boykin reported that Archy contacted police and wanted to turn herself in, and she met officers on Shannon Road and was taken into custody. After being read her rights, Archy reportedly said “I shot him, I shot him, I’m so sorry.”

She told detectives she and other people were taking the male home when they began fighting and the male pulled a gun which he dropped. She said she didn’t like the fighting and picked up the and fired a shot. She said she didn’t mean to.

At Carson’s request, Archy was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled. The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Archy.
