A $25,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of helping an escapee from the adult detention center hide for several days.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Shondra Grice with hindering apprehension or prosecution.

Reading from an affidavit by Sheriff’s Sgt. Dennis Kendall, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said sheriff’s investigators received information about the escapee, Jatonia Bryant and about Grice.

Bryant was taken into custody Monday and Akel said he and Grice were wearing the same clothes as in the video.

Grice has two pending charges, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor. She was told to come back to court Feb. 28.
