A $5,000 secured bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of not being in compliance with his sex offender registration requirements.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge 66-year-old William Courtney with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
Reading from an affidavit, Prosecuting Attorney Bill Snowden said on June 24th, Officers conducted a sex offender compliance check on 5718 W 7th ave, and found cobwebs on the door, and no signs of entry.
They checked Courtney’s previously registered address, where Coutney was found in violation of his registration requirements.
Coutney is scheduled to return to court.
