A $200,000 bond was set Monday for 68-year-old Wilbert Jenkins, who is accused of shooting his longtime girlfriend Wednesday afternoon.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jenkins with first-degree domestic battery, aggravated assault, terroristic threatening, committing a terroristic act and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Explaining the allegations, Chief Deput Prosecutor Jill Reed said first-degree domestic battery is a Class A felony because the victim, Lenora Robinson is 71-years-old, the aggravated assault related to Jenkins firing a shot at a witness, the terroristic threatening is related to Jenkins’ threatening to kill the witness, the terroristic act relates to Jenkins firing shots while running out of the building with one shot hitting a glass window and the felon in possession of a firearm relates to a prior conviction in Florida.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Shaun Watson, Reed described the incident that resulted in the shooting.

Reed went on and said Robinson identified Jenkins as the person who shot her.

She said Jenkins and Robinson previously had a long-standing relationship.

Jenkins was ordered to have no contact with Robinson and was told to come back to court Feb. 9.
