PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Pine Bluff Police have arrested two women in connection with a Wednesday shooting at an apartment complex at 818 W. 28th Ave.
Nikki Strickland and Curistina Shorter were taken into custody on Thursday and charged with committing terroristic acts and engaging in violent group activity.
When officers arrived at the apartment complex at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, they found that one of the residences had been struck by gunfire four times, damaging the front living room window, a door, wall and an air conditioning unit.
The resident, who wasn’t injured, said he was using the restroom inside his apartment at the time of the shooting.
No firearm or shell casings were located at or near the scene at the time.
The man told officers that the incident could be related to ongoing domestic issues due to his ongoing divorce.
