$10,000 Bond Set For Pine Bluff Man After Alleged Shooting of Girlfriend

A $10,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of shooting his girlfriend during an altercation Monday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Demarcus Goal, 22, with first-degree domestic battery.

During the court hearing, a deputy prosecutor said at 1:31 p.m., Monday, police were sent to Southeast Apartments on East 36th Avenue where they found the victim on the ground between buildings 4 and 5.

Goal was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Dec. 22.
