Two Pine Bluff Men Held on Bond After Cherry Street Apartment Shooting

A $75,000 bond was set Monday for two Pine Bluff men accused of being involved in a shooting at an apartment on Cherry Street last week.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Tyler Thorns, 18, and Alonzo Harris, 20, with committing a terroristic act, aggravated assault, engaging in violent criminal gang activity and theft by receiving.

Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel explained the allegations during the court hearing.

Akel said several weapons were recovered during the search, including a rifle valued at $1,200 that had been reported stolen.

When Thorns and Harris were questioned, they both allegedly admitted firing shots at the apartment. They were ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court Dec. 5.
