The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Human Sciences Department will be hosting a Field Day event this Friday and Deseray McKinzy, the Communications Manager for the department talked about it on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Jennifer Lipp, who was sitting in for Morning Show host Greg Horne asked McKinzy to talk about the tours that will be conducted during the field day.
Lipp asked McKinzy to explain how AI is helping as far as shrimp is concerned.
McKinzy said there will also be an emphasis on sweet potatoes, including making sweet potato wine and a lot of experts on farm related topics will be available to answer questions or offer help to farmers and ranchers.
Field Day activities are scheduled to conclude around 1 p.m. Friday.
