A $3,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Grant County man accused of threatening another man during a road-side altercation.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Timothy Wright, 50, with terroristic threatening.
Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said Wright was arrested by a state trooper who had been patrolling U.S. Highway 270 near the Hardin Community.
Video and two independent witnesses told police that Wright had “threatened to cut the victim’s head off” during the altercation.
When Wright was questioned, he reportedly admitted making those statements.
Wright was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Oct. 1.
