A $25,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man on drug and weapons related charges.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Keanrey set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Terelle Charles, 39, with possession of a controlled substance and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said the allegations are based on an affidavit from the Arkansas State Police.

Akel said police dispatch confirmed that the warrant from Stuttgart was a valid warrant.

Charles was told to come back to court Sept. 8.
