A Little Rock man currently on probation will have to post a $5,000 cash only bond to be released from the adult detention center after he was accused of driving a car that had been reported stolen.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Dave Winston, 48, with theft of property.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Keith Banks, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said on Saturday, police were following up on a report of a stolen car.
Akel said Winston has an extensive criminal history and prosecutors have be filing a petition to revoke his probation.
Winston was told to come back to court Sept. 8.
