A $25,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man on drug related allegations.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Orlando Lancaster, 51, with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and distribution near certain facilities because a church is located at 3900 S. Hepburn St., which is within 1,000 feet of the house where the drugs were allegedly sold.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jarrell Johnson, Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed explained the allegation.
Reed said Lancaster is an habitual offender but does not have anything current. He was told to come back to court July 21.
