SEARK President Dr. Jackson and PBSD Superintendent Dr. Barbaree discussed how high school students can earn college credits

Dr. Tyrone Jackson, who is the new president of Southeast Arkansas College was joined by Jennifer Barbaree, the Superintendent of the Pine Bluff School District when both were guests on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.

Barbaree has placed a heavy emphasis on reading ability in the early grades and host Greg Horne asked her how important it is to have a community college or a college in the area for those students who are in high school and thinking about what they are going to do after high school.
