Recently, the Jefferson County Quorum Court tried to push through an ordinance that would have allowed certain members to approve checks written by the Jefferson County clerk without the checks going through the County Judge’s Office, who currently has to sign off on checks.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, Robinson was asked about that attempt, which failed.
Robinson went on to say that the county clerk is not authorized to sign checks.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Robinson how the county is going to get back to a sense of normalcy after all the dissention of the previous 18 months.
Robinson went on to say this.
Tomorrow: Robinson explains the Bayou Bartholomew project.
