During the recent interview with State Representative Mike Holcomb on Oldies 1013, the subject of highways came up, particularly U.S. 270 which is finally being widened.
Holcomb said he avoids U.S. 270 during peak hours because of the congestion.
The subject of the future U.S. Highway 69 also came up during the conversation.
Holcomb said that if you drive in Kentucky, of Tennessee or parts of Arkansas, you will see signs Future I-69
Holcomb also said he wished more was being done with the state’s waterways.
